A very good friend, Jeannette, flew me out to Chicago to take her family photos. She is a wonderful supporter of my photography interests. It was time to update her photos and she wanted to give me an opportunity to practice. (Plus, we haven't seen each other for almost 2 years). We took a variety of photos: family, individual portrait, executive). This is her beautiful family...
If you're wondering why there are pictures of Jeannette with a sewing machine. She is the founder of a not-for-profit organization called i2we (Immigrants to Women Empowered). We were trying to take possible photos for her website. The goal of the company is to give women who have legally immigrated to the US an opportunity to utilize their sewing and crafting skills to earn money of their own while developing new skills that will help them as they integrate into the US . Visit i2we's online store at: www.i2we.etsy.com.
