Beautiful Morning

I thank God for beautiful mornings like yesterday.  Not in a dramatic sense, but in true appreciation of His miracles.  I was dropping my daughter off at school and was thrilled at the scenery that greeted everyone in Colorado Springs.  This is probably the only reason I like winter.  I ran home immediately to get my camera and took these pictures on a trail near the house.

I've been collecting postcards of Pikes Peak and of Colorado for my friend's daughter.  She specifically requested postcards of Colorado and being the good dad my friend is, he contacted me to see if I would pick up some postcards for him to fulfill his daughter's birthday wishes.  We, also, talked about me taking any photos (because I didn't have any at the time) to include, too.  I'm excited that one of the photos I've taken will be used as a gift to her.
